Tremblant, Québec, Canada

Mountain Layout—Snowboarding

Boarders ride The Edge and Versant Soleil for the glades. If you like screaming cruisers, Tremblant doles out some of the best. Start with any of the trails off Le Soleil—especially Laurentienne with its rolling dips for air and Toboggan—and work your way around the mountain. Try to avoid Geant on the North Side, it has a very lo-o-o-ong run-out.

Parks and pipes
Tremblant has dedicated about 40 acres to its three terrain parks and superpipe. The 420-foot superpipe is on the North Side, as is North Park, which also is known as the Intermediate Park. The area is groomed by a state-of-the-art Scorpion snowpark grooming machine and has rollers, tabletops, spines, bankturns and rails. The park and pipe are reached by, and run alongside of, the Lowell Thomas lift, putting you in full view of folks on the lift.

The Progression Park and the Advanced Park are off the Flying Mile lift on the South Side. Features include rails, tabletops and jumps as well as music. Major competitions take place here since it's in full view of the base area.
