Group
lessons: Beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders get instruction through a Ski Your Pro format, where instructors are assigned to training areas on the mountain, and skiers/riders can join in on the hour for $49. Higher-level skiers/riders get two-hour workshops on specific skills, such as moguls, powder, gate training, freeriding, halfpipe and terrain park, also for $49. A book of five two-hour lessons is $199.
After the Ski Your Pro program, skiers can take advanced workshops for $47 (lesson only) or $124 (lesson, rentals and lifts).
First-timer package: A First Time Adventure Package that includes a beginner lift ticket, rentals and a two-hour lesson is $89 for skiing or snowboarding.
Private lessons: $109 for one hour; $319 for three hours; $529 for a full day; $169 for a two-hour early bird special that starts at 9 a.m.
Special programs: An introduction to telemarking lesson includes beginner lift ticket, rentals and two-hour lesson for $89; reservations required, call (530) 581-7263. Advanced Ski Clinics are one-day, three-day and five-day programs to help you become an all-mountain skier. Go to Squaws website for dates, prices and to make online reservations. Squaw Valley also has a full-service adaptive ski school.
