Après-Ski / Nightlife
The Powder Keg Lounge upstairs in the Lodge of the Ten Peaks has a large bar, leather easy chairs and enormous floor to ceiling windows. Kokanee Kabin is a gathering spot parked at the bottom of Men's and Ladies' Downhill where revelers unwind, especially outdoors on sunny spring days.
Also jump into après-ski and nightlife in town center in the hotels. At The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, The Glacier Saloon has a lively atmosphere and dancing, with a more modest menu for family budgets, while the Walliser Stube is a classic four-star hotel lobby lounge. Quiet conversation is possible at The Explorer's Lounge in the Lake Louise Inn and The Post Hotel's Outpost. Explorer's now offers DJ and Karaokee nights during the week too.

See Dining to find out about Sitz 'n' Suds apres-ski and dinner party and Brewster Cowboy's Barbecue & Dance Barn (above), which both are lively from the après-ski hours until well after dinner.
There's plenty of nightlife in Banff too. |
