
Lessons (2007/08 prices, without tax) (area code 403)
Group lessons: For skiers or snowboarders, levels 23, it costs C$89 for two hours or C$109 for an all-day lesson. Levels 46 pay C$99 for two hours; C$129 for an all-day lesson that includes video analysis.
First-timer package: Discover Skiing and Snowboarding costs C$69 for a half day (two hours) and C$89 (four-and-a half hours) including lesson, equipment rental and beginner lift ticket for skiers or snowboarders.
A three-day package including lessons, rentals and lift ticket costs C$359 for adults; C$335 for youth; and only C$269 without lits and equipment. These 3-day programs start on Sunday or Thursday.
Private Lessons: For skiers and snowboarders, two hours costs C$235; two hours (late lessons from 2-4 p.m.) are C$199; three hours costs $335; First Tracks (two hours starting at 8:30 a.m.), C$99; full day, C$525. Private lessons accommodate up to five people.
Private lessons can be arranged online through Ski Big 3.
Special programs: Lake Louise has several special clinics, some for two hours, others for several days, including Performance Plus Workshops, women's camps and more. Call for all details and prices (522-1333) .
The Club Ski and Club Snowboard programs operate at Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Ski Banff @ Norquay. Groups of similar interest and expertise ski or ride together with the same instructor for four hours a day at each of the three areas, then dine at an optional closing-night dinner with prizes. The program starts Sundays and Thursdays, and one benefit is lift-line priority. The three-day program costs C$256 (plus tax, lift tickets and rentals).
