Getting there (Area Code 970)

By air: Denver International Airport is 90 miles away via I-70. Book transportation between the airport and the resort with the central reservations number, (800) 427-8308. Colorado Mountain Express (800-525-6363) and Lift Ticket Limo (866-488-5280; 668-4899) have regular vans between the resort and airport. For personalized private charter limos, vans and suburbans, make reservations with VailCoach (877 554-7433).

By car: Take I-70 west from Denver, through the Eisenhower Tunnel, to Dillon at Exit 205. Head east for 6 miles on Hwy. 6.

Getting around: Within Keystone an excellent free shuttle system runs continuously starting at 7:30 a.m. In the evenings the shuttles run every 20 minutes until mid–night on weeknights and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Bartenders and hotel doormen will call the shuttle to ensure pickup in the evenings and late night, 496-4200. If you're staying and skiing mostly at Keystone, you won’t need a car. The Summit Stage provides free transportation between Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. Call 668-0999 for route information.
