We provide regular-season rates; holiday rates are higher.

Child care: Ages 2 months to 3 years. Cost is $78 for a full day with lunch and $63 for a half day. Toddlers (ages 2–3) get outdoor snow play, arts and crafts, games, movies and story time. Reservations required; call (970) 385-2144 or (800) 525-0892. If you're not sure whether to put your child in day care or lessons, Durango Mountain's Kids Central, on the second floor of the Village Center, will help assess your child's abilities and interests, then escort him or her to the appropriate spot. Note: The day-care staff can recommend a babysitter while you enjoy a night out.

Children's lessons: Ski lessons are available for kids 3–12 years old, snowboarding lessons are for kids 8–12. The program for 3-year-olds includes lunch, indoor activity, and an introduction-to-ski lesson with special skis that attach to snowboots. A full day costs $79, a half day costs $63. Cost includes rentals, lift ticket and lesson; reservations are required.

The full-day programs for ages 4–12, including lift ticket and lunch, cost $83; half day with ticket, $67. Rentals are extra. Reservations required for all ages.

Special activities: The Snowcoaster Tubing hill is the place where kids congregate after skiing and riding, or check out one of the many Family Movie Nights in the Community Center.
