Aspen Snowmass guarantees its lessons. If you are not completely satisfied, get another lesson free or get a refund. Group lessons: Adult small group lessons for Level 5 and up cost $125 a day. They are offered at all the mountains, and are limited to three per class for all levels. Unlimited extensions are $109 per day. Levels 1–4 take classes listed under the first-timer package.

First-timer package: Beginner's Magic is a lesson package for Levels 1–4 offered at Buttermilk. Three-day ski/snowboard packages (including lessons, lift tickets, rentals) run $339. One-day programs are $135. Unlimited extensions of either program are $105 per day.

Private lessons: $540 for a full day, $390 for a half day for one to five people of your own choosing and $2,500 for five full days. Other options are available. Reservations are required. Lessons are offered in several languages, and include ski storage, lift line privileges, and demo discounts. Offered every day on every mountain.

Special programs: These are numerous clinics, including clinics and/or ski and snowboard weeks for women, bumps, powder, off-piste, all-mountain, disabled skiers, video analysis, equipment assessment and many more.

Racing: NASTAR courses are on Silver Dip Swing at Aspen Mountain (daily) and Nugget at Highlands (Wednesday–Sunday). Clinics also are offered.
